Video

You can add a video section to embed a video from YouTube or Vimeo on a page in your store.

To add this section, please follow the below steps:

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store -> Themes.

2. Find the theme that you want to edit, and then click Customize.

3. Click Add section and choose "Video".

Section settings

Setting	Description
Heading	The title for this section.
Heading size	The size of the heading text: Small Medium Large Extra large
Heading alignment	The alignment of the heading text and description within the section container: Left - Aligns the heading and description to the left. Center (default) - Aligns the heading and description in the center. Right - Aligns the heading and description to the right.
Description	The description for this section.
Play video on loop	Allows the video to be played again.

Shopify-hosted video

Setting	Description
Video	Select a uploaded video in your Shopify admin that you want to display.

Or embed video from URL

Shows when no Shopify-hosted video is selected.

Setting	Description
URL	Use a YouTube or Vimeo URL. The video must be publicly available.
Cover image	The image that displays before a customer plays the video.
Video alt text	Describe the video for customers using screen readers.

Style

Setting	Description
Make section full width	Makes the section the full width of the browser window.
Color scheme	Set the color for the section.

Section padding

Setting	Description
Top padding	Determines the height of the top inner space of the section. Can be from 0px to 150px, increasing arithmetically of 2px (pixel).
Bottom padding	Determines the height of the bottom inner space of the section. Can be from 0px to 150px, increasing arithmetically of 2px (pixel).
