# Release Notes
How to check your theme version
To check your Soul version, click on the three-dot icon at the top of the Theme Editor to view the theme actions, including the version number.
## **Version 5.1.0 - December 03****, 2025**
This release focuses on new feature additions and overall code improvements to ensure a smoother and more consistent experience across browsers. Below is the full changelog for this version.

* Added a new “Age verification popup” to help merchants comply with content age restrictions.

Soul 5.0.0 introduces Boule — a clean and modern preset crafted for nutrition, wellness, and natural food brands. Inspired by earthy tones and wholesome simplicity, this preset features a deep crimson red paired with a light cream background to convey both vitality and softness. Boule is ideal for brands looking to communicate trust, health, and warmth in their visual identity.

This is a major structural update of the Soul theme, with its architecture refactored to follow the latest Shopify theme standards.

* The matching demo preset is automatically applied when merchants install the theme from a specific listing, ensuring a fast, seamless setup that perfectly mirrors the demo store.
## **Version 3.1.0 - May 13, 2025**
Soul 3.1.0 focuses on refining the Elegant preset with updated visual design and improved defaults. This version also introduces new controls for theme color opacity and enhances key features for a smoother shopping experience.

* Added a new "Slide with large bottom text" block to the Slideshow section.
* Added auto-play product videos on hover in product cards – if a video is placed as the second media item in the product gallery, it will automatically play when hovering over the product image.
