# Currency format

**Currency Format** allows store owner to enable/disable currency code beside price. Cart and checkout prices always show currency codes. Example: $1.00 USD.

1. From your Shopify admin, go to **Online Store** **->** **Themes**.
2. Find the theme that you want to edit, and then click **Customize**.
3. Click **Theme Settings ->** **Currency Format.**
