# Pre-order product

When a product is sold out and you choose ''**Track quantity**'' and '**'Continue selling when out of stock**'', the button will show ''**Pre Order**'' and customers can purchase the item.

### How To Setup Pre-Order Product?

1. From your Shopify admin, go to **Products -> All products**.
2. Find and choose the ***sold out product*** that you want to edit.
3. In the **Inventory**, turn on **Continue selling when out of stock**.
