Product recommendations

The product recommendations that display in the section are based on products that are commonly purchased together or products in related collections. For more information, see Product recommendations.

If you want to add related products on product detail pages on top of the automatically generated recommendations Shopify provides, You must install Shopify Search & Discovery.

How To Setup Product recommendations?

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store -> Themes.

2. Find the theme that you want to edit, and then click Customize.

3. Choose Products from the dropdown window -> Choose Default product.

4. From the side menu, select Related product. Configure the product recommendations in the setting on the side with the following settings.

Setting	Description
Heading	Add text to display as a section heading (Leave the field blank to hide the heading)
Maximum products to show	Determines the maximum of products can be shown. Can be from 2 to 10, increasing arithmetically of 1.
Color scheme	Select a color scheme to set the text and background colors for the section.

Carousel

Setting	Description
Enable arrows	Display arrows on devices: None On every device Only on desktop Only on (desktop, tablet) Only on (tablet, mobile) Only on mobile
Enable infinite scroll	Select this checkbox to show/hide the infinite scroll
Number of slides to display	Determines the number of slides to display on desktop screen. Can be from 1 to 5, increasing arithmetically of 1.
Enable pagination	Display pagination on devices: On every device Only on desktop Only on (desktop, tablet) Only on (tablet, mobile) Only on mobile
Pagination type	Select the pagination type from the dropdown menu: None Dots Progressbar Fraction

Section padding

Setting	Description
Top padding	Determines the height of the top inner space of the section. Can be from 0px to 100px, increasing arithmetically of 1px (pixel).
Bottom padding	Determines the height of the bottom inner space of the section. Can be from 0px to 100px, increasing arithmetically of 1px (pixel).
Top padding on mobile	Determines the height of the top inner space of the section on mobile. Can be from 0px to 100px, increasing arithmetically of 1px (pixel).
Bottom padding on mobile	Determines the height of the top inner space of the section on mobile. Can be from 0px to 100px, increasing arithmetically of 1px (pixel).
