Install Theme

Preparing Theme Package

Here is the instruction to install the theme:

  1. Download the package from themeforest.net (the file is in zip format).

  2. Extract/ Unzip the file you've just downloaded.

  3. Find this file: halo-x.x.x-sections-ready.zip in the folder Halo Sections Ready x.x.x, then you just need to upload halo-x.x.x-sections-ready.zip file to your Shopify store.

With x.x.x is the current version of the theme.

Uploading Theme

To upload the theme:

  1. Please log in to your Shopify store, click Online Store.

  2. At Theme Library, click Add theme, choose Upload zip file.

  3. The Upload Theme dialog displays. Click Add File or drop file to upload to select the .zip file you want to upload.

  4. Click Upload file.

  5. Wait until the uploading process finishes. Then click Publish button to active the source to be live.

Upload Settings Data For Home Page

To set up data for Home Page Layouts, please follow below instruction:

  1. Please click the file to download the corresponding "json" of the layout you want.

  2. Open downloaded file in the text editor.

  3. SELECT ALL and COPY.

  4. From your Shopify admin, go to Themes -> Actions -> Edit Code.

  5. Find folder Templates -> Open file index.json -> SELECT ALL and DELETE then PASTE the copied preset from external file.

Upload Settings Data For Theme Settings

To set up the same data for Theme Settings, please follow below instruction:

  1. Click the file to download the corresponding "json" of the layout you want to open the data on a new tab.

  2. SELECT ALL and COPY.

  3. From your Shopify admin, go to Themes -> Actions -> Edit Code

  1. Find folder Config -> Open file settings_data.json -> SELECT ALL and DELETE then PASTE the copied preset from the external file.

Upload Settings For Header

To set up the same data for Header Layouts, please follow below instruction:

  1. Click the file to download the corresponding "json" of the layout you want to open the data on a new tab.

  2. SELECT ALL and COPY.

  3. From your Shopify admin, go to Themes -> Actions -> Edit Code

  1. Find folder Sections -> Open file header-group.json -> SELECT ALL and DELETE then PASTE the copied preset from the external file.

This step is used from version 1.5.0

Upload Settings For Footer

To set up the same data for Footer Layouts, please follow below instruction:

  1. Click the file to download the corresponding "json" of the layout you want to open the data on a new tab.

  2. SELECT ALL and COPY.

  3. From your Shopify admin, go to Themes -> Actions -> Edit Code

  1. Find folder Sections -> Open file footer-group.json -> SELECT ALL and DELETE then PASTE the copied preset from the external file.

This step is used from version 1.5.0
