# Version 5.1.0 release

## Age verification popup

The **Age Verification Popup** section helps ensure your store complies with age-restricted product regulations by verifying a visitor’s age before they can access the site. It’s especially useful for stores selling alcohol, tobacco, or other regulated products.

This popup displays a customizable message asking visitors to confirm their age. You can personalize the heading, description, and button labels to match your brand’s tone. An optional background image or overlay color can also be applied to enhance the appearance and maintain visual consistency with your store design.

Once confirmed, the popup won’t reappear for that visitor unless their browser cookies are cleared, ensuring a smooth browsing experience while maintaining compliance.

This feature provides a simple yet effective way to protect your brand, promote responsible shopping, and create trust with customers through transparency and clear communication.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://halosoft.gitbook.io/soul-documentation/updates/whats-new-in-soul/version-5.1.0-release.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
