Install Theme 🎯
Installing Ella 7 on your Shopify store is the first step to start customizing your new theme. Please follow the instructions carefully to ensure a smooth setup.
⚠️ Important: Installing a new theme does not overwrite your current published theme. However, always keep a backup of your active theme before making changes.
Step 1: Preparing Theme Package
Remember: The package you download from Envato contains:
Ella Shopify 6.7.6
Ella Shopify 7.0.0
Ella HTML Template
PSD file: We only provide PSD file of Ella default homepage
Download the package from themeforest.net (the package is in zip format).
Unzip the package you've just downloaded.
Find this file: ella-7.0.0-theme-source.zip in the folder Ella Shopify 7.0.0, then you just need to upload ella-7.0.0-theme-source.zip file to your Shopify store.
Step 2: Upload Theme to Shopify
Please log in to your Shopify store, click Online Store → Themes.
At Themes , click Import theme, choose Upload zip file.
The Upload Themes dialog displays. Click Add file or drop file to upload to select the .zip file you want to upload → select the file ella-7.0.0-theme-source.zip file.
Click Upload file.
Wait until the uploading process finishes.
Step 3: Publish Theme
After upload, you will see Ella 7 in the Theme Library.
Click Publish to set Ella 7 as your live theme.
⚠️Note: If you are not ready to publish yet, you can keep Ella 7 in the library and preview it first.
